HOW TO USE:

• Assess the Situation: Check if the person is responsive and breathing. Call for emergency medical services (e.g., your local emergency number) immediately.
• Administer Naloxone: If naloxone is available, open the package. For the nasal spray included in this kit:
  • Peel back the package to remove the device.
  • Hold the device with your thumb on the bottom of the plunger and your first and middle fingers on either side of the nozzle.
  • Tilt the person's head back and insert the tip of the nozzle into one nostril until your fingers touch the bottom of their nose.
  • Press the plunger firmly to release the naloxone.
  • Remove the device from the nostril.
