HOW TO USE:

- Sensor Placement: Based on the preliminary readings and industry standards, determine the appropriate locations for the Rapid RH® 5.0 Reusable Smart Sensors.
- Drilling Holes: Using the included ¾” masonry drill bit, drill holes to the required depth as specified in the instruction manual at the selected locations.
- Sensor Installation: Insert the finned bases into the drilled holes, followed by the Rapid RH® 5.0 Reusable Smart Sensors. Use the insertion tool to ensure proper seating.
- Ambient Data Logging: Place the Smart Loggers™ in the area where the flooring will be installed to record ambient temperature and humidity over time.
- Taking Readings: Use either the Easy Reader or the Bluetooth Smart Reader with the Total Reader® app to take RH and temperature readings from the installed Smart Sensors.
- Calibration Check: Regularly use the EasyCare CalChecks to verify the accuracy of the Smart Sensors.
- Data Recording and Analysis: Record all readings, including in-slab RH and temperature, and ambient conditions from the Smart Loggers. Analyze the data to determine if the concrete slab meets the required moisture levels for the intended flooring material.
- Sensor Removal: Once testing is complete, use the Rapid RH 5.0 Sensor Extraction Tool to carefully remove the Smart Sensors from the slab.
- Sensor Storage: Store the reusable Smart Sensors in the EasyCare CalCheck units to protect them and maintain their calibration.
