HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Test Location: Select test locations on the concrete slab according to ASTM F2170.
- Drill the Holes: Use the ¾” SDS masonry drill bit to drill holes to the specified depth. Use the vacuum attachment to remove debris.
- Insert the L6 Smart Sensor: Place an L6 Smart Sensor into an extension and insert it into the drilled hole.
- Cap the Hole: Cover the hole with a protective cap that includes a rubber plug and butyl gasket. Allow sensors to equilibrate per ASTM F2170.
- Take Readings with the Total Reader: Remove the plug and insert the Total Reader into the cap. Touch-n-Sense™ provides instant RH readings.
- Record Data: Record RH, temperature, and notes using the DataMaster L6 app via Bluetooth. Add job site data, photos, and audio memos.
- Monitor Ambient Conditions (Optional): Use Smart Loggers to record ambient temperature and humidity.
- Data Logging (Automated): The DataGrabber automatically stores time-stamped concrete temperature and RH readings.
- Download Data: Wirelessly download sensor readings and program reading intervals with the DataMaster L6 app.
