    HOW TO USE:

    • Install Battery: Open the battery compartment and insert a 9-volt battery, ensuring correct polarity.
    • Power On: Press the ON/HOLD button to turn on the meter.
    • Select Measurement Depth: Use the DEPTH button to choose between the shallow (0.25") and deep (0.75") measurement modes.
    • Set Wood Species: Use the up and down arrow buttons to select the appropriate wood species setting from the Species Settings Booklet.
    • Calibrate (If Necessary): Place the On-Demand Calibrator on a flat surface, then place the scanning surface of the Orion 930 onto it and press the CAL button to calibrate.
    • Take Measurement: Place the scanning surface firmly against the wood or material you want to measure.
    • Read Measurement: The moisture content reading will be displayed on the screen.
    • Hold Reading (Optional): Press the ON/HOLD button to freeze the reading on the display.
    • Power Off: The meter will automatically shut off after 60 seconds of inactivity, or you can manually turn it off by pressing and holding the ON/HOLD button.
