HOW TO USE:
- For Concrete Moisture Testing (using Rapid RH L6 System):
- Drill Test Holes: Using the included ¾” SDS masonry drill bit, drill test holes in the concrete slab to the required depth as specified by ASTM F2170.
- Clean the Holes: Use the wire cleaning brush and vacuum attachment to thoroughly clean any debris from the drilled holes.
- Insert Sleeve Extensions: Insert the sleeve extensions into the cleaned test holes.
- Place Smart Sensors: Insert the Rapid RH L6 Smart Sensors into the sleeve extensions.
- Cover the Holes: Cover the test holes with the protective caps, ensuring a tight seal with the butyl rubber gasket. Stainless steel covers can be used for added protection.
- Take Readings: Use the Total Reader with Bluetooth to wirelessly connect to the Smart Sensors and take RH and temperature readings at the appropriate time intervals as per ASTM F2170.
- Data Management: Utilize the DataMaster L6 App to record, store, and report the collected data.
- For Wood Moisture Testing (using Orion 950 Moisture Meter):
- Power On: Turn on the Orion 950 moisture meter.
- Select Wood Species: If necessary, select the appropriate wood species setting on the meter.
- Place on Surface: Place the meter flat on the surface of the wood being tested, ensuring good contact.
- Read Measurement: Read the moisture content displayed on the meter.
- Record Data: Manually record the readings or connect the meter via Bluetooth to a compatible device for data logging.
- For Ambient Monitoring (using Smart Logger):
- Place Smart Logger: Position the Smart Logger device in the area where ambient conditions need to be monitored.
- Program Reading Intervals: Use the Smart Logger app to set the desired reading intervals.
- Collect Data: The Smart Logger will automatically record ambient RH and temperature data according to the set intervals.
- Download Data: Use the Smart Logger app to download the recorded data to a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device.
