HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is properly supported on a lift or sturdy jack stands, and that the transmission or gas tank is accessible for removal or installation.
- Position the Jack: Roll the AFF 3160 transmission jack to the desired location directly beneath the component.
- Adjust the Saddle: Use the adjustable saddle mechanism to align the saddle with the transmission or gas tank. Tilt the saddle forward, backward, or side-to-side as needed for optimal contact and balance.
- Lift the Component: Insert a 1/2-inch drive ratchet or attach a 1/2-inch air impact tool (not included) to the jack's operation mechanism. Rotate or activate the tool to raise the saddle until it firmly supports the component.
- Secure the Load: Once the component is supported, fasten the provided nylon safety strap securely around both the component and the jack's saddle to prevent any movement or slippage.
- Lower/Raise: Carefully lower the component (for removal) or raise it into position (for installation) by operating the jack's mechanism slowly and controlled.
- Finalize: After the component is removed or installed, carefully release the safety strap, lower the saddle, and roll the jack away from the work area.
