HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the surface where the heater will be installed is clean, smooth, and made of metal for optimal heat transfer.
- Mount the Heater: Securely clamp the strip heater along its entire length to the prepared surface using the integrated slotted holes. If using only mounting tabs, ensure the terminal end is firmly secured while the opposite end is left slightly loose to accommodate thermal expansion.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the two offset bolt-type terminals to your power supply. Ensure the voltage matches the heater's specification (240V). If the voltage to ground exceeds 300V, use secondary insulators.
- Temperature Control (Optional): If precise temperature control is required, integrate an external thermostat or a Caloritech™ CPA or CPB control panel (sold separately) into your electrical circuit.
- Power On: Once fully installed and wired, safely apply power to the heater.
- Monitor and Adjust: Monitor the initial operation and make any necessary adjustments to your temperature control system to achieve the desired warmth.
