HOW TO USE:
- Select Mounting Location: Choose a suitable indoor location within the control panel or pump house enclosure, typically on the floor or lower wall. Ensure sufficient clearance (at least 4 inches) around the heater from other components and walls to allow for proper air circulation.
- Secure Mounting Bracket: Attach the provided mounting bracket to the chosen surface using appropriate fasteners. The bracket is designed to ensure the correct minimum spacing for optimal heat distribution.
- Position Heater: Slide the Caloritech PXFT40011 heater onto the mounted bracket. The movable bracket allows for the terminal box to be oriented on the left, right, top, or bottom side to best suit your wiring needs.
- Connect Wiring: Have a qualified electrician connect the heater to the 120V power supply according to local electrical codes. Ensure the supply wires are rated for 90°C. The terminal box has a 7/8” diameter hole for a ½” conduit fitting.
- Set Thermostat: Adjust the built-in thermostat to your desired temperature between 30°F and 120°F (0°C and 50°C) to prevent condensation or freezing. The heater will automatically activate when the temperature drops below the set point and turn off when the desired temperature is reached.
- Verify Operation: After installation and power connection, observe the heater's operation to confirm it is functioning as expected and maintaining the desired temperature within the enclosure.
