It is a direct replacement for older distributors, including those with points-based ignition, and is also suitable for use in crate engine applications. The adjustable mechanical and vacuum advance mechanisms allow for precise tuning of the ignition timing curve, ensuring optimal engine performance.

HOW TO USE:
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the existing distributor, noting the rotor position.
- Install the FiTech 99030 distributor, aligning the rotor with the noted position.
- Connect the three wires: power, ground, and tachometer.
- Connect the spark plug wires to the distributor cap in the correct firing order.
- If required, adjust the mechanical and/or vacuum advance settings.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Verify proper engine operation and timing.
