HOW TO USE:
- Setup: Mount the lathe on a sturdy workbench and level it for optimal performance. Install the desired chuck (3-jaw or 4-jaw) onto the spindle. Secure your workpiece in the chuck and tighten it firmly.
- Adjustments: Set the desired spindle speed and cutting depth using the controls on the headstock. Position the cutting tool using the compound slide and cross slide according to your machining requirements.
- Machining: Engage the spindle and start cutting. Use the carriage handwheel to move the tool along the bed while maintaining proper cutting pressure. The DRO will provide real-time feedback on tool position for precise cuts.
- Coolant: Engage the coolant system (if desired) to lubricate the cutting tool and workpiece, extending tool life and improving chip removal.
