HOW TO USE:
- Secure Workpiece: Firmly clamp the workpiece to the table using appropriate clamps or vises.
- Select Speed: Adjust the spindle speed according to the material and drill bit size using the speed control knob. Refer to a speed/feed chart for optimal settings.
- Position Drill Bit: Insert the desired drill bit into the spindle chuck and tighten securely.
- Lower Spindle: Use the feed handle to slowly lower the spindle until the drill bit contacts the workpiece.
- Start Drilling: Turn on the drill press and apply gentle pressure on the feed handle to continue drilling. Use cutting fluid if necessary.
- Withdraw Drill Bit: Once the hole is complete, slowly raise the spindle to withdraw the drill bit. (Note: For tapping, follow the drill press's tapping instructions carefully.)
