HOW TO USE:
- Secure the workpiece: Clamp the material securely in the quick-positioning vise, ensuring proper alignment for the desired cut.
- Adjust the blade tension: Using the large handwheel and built-in gauge, tension the blade according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Set the miter angle (if needed): Loosen the miter lock and swivel the head to the desired angle between 0° and 60°. Tighten the lock to secure the head position.
- Engage the coolant system (if desired): Turn on the coolant system to direct coolant to the blade and workpiece for extended blade life and a cleaner cut.
- Start the bandsaw and lower the blade: Power on the saw and use the hydraulic downfeed control to slowly lower the blade into the material.
- Guide the material through the cut: Maintain steady pressure on the material as it feeds through the blade, following the guide lines for a straight cut.
- Turn off the saw and raise the blade: Once the cut is complete, power off the saw and raise the blade clear of the material.
- Power down and clean: Turn off the coolant system (if used) and power down the saw completely. Clean the work area and bandsaw according to the manufacturer's instructions.
