    HOW TO USE:

    • Prepare Tinder: Gather a small, dry, and easily ignitable pile of tinder material such as fine wood shavings, dry leaves, cotton, or shredded bark.
    • Position Firesteel: Hold the black magnesium firesteel rod firmly with one hand, positioning the end of the rod close to your prepared tinder pile.
    • Scrape for Sparks: With your other hand, hold the chrome-plated striker tool firmly. Place the edge of the striker against the magnesium rod at an acute angle (around 45 degrees).
    • Generate Sparks: Apply firm, consistent pressure and quickly scrape the striker down the length of the magnesium rod. This action will create a shower of hot sparks directed towards your tinder.
    • Ignite Fire: Continue striking until the tinder catches fire. Once a small flame is established, gently feed larger pieces of kindling and then fuel to build your desired fire.
