    HOW TO USE:

    • Opening the Blade: Locate the nail nick on the blade. Using your thumbnail or fingertip, carefully pull the blade outwards from the handle. The blade will stop at a half-open position before you continue to fully open it until the double-detent mechanism engages, securing it in the open position.
    • Making Cuts: Grip the Micarta handle firmly. Position the clip point blade against the material you wish to cut. Use steady, controlled pressure to perform your task. The full flat grind of the blade assists in smooth cutting.
    • Closing the Blade: To close, gently apply inward pressure to the blade using your thumb or fingers. The blade will disengage from the open detent and move through the half-stop, allowing you to guide it safely back into the handle until the closed detent engages. Ensure your fingers are clear of the blade's path.
    • Carrying: Utilize the integrated lanyard hole if you wish to attach a lanyard for easier retrieval from a pocket or for securing it. As it does not have a pocket clip, it's designed to ride freely in a pocket or pouch.
    • Maintenance: Keep the blade clean and dry after use. Periodically apply a light film of knife oil to the blade and pivot area to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion. Sharpen the CPM 154 blade as needed to maintain its cutting performance.
