- If access to the hub is required, the center cap on the front simulator can be carefully popped out using the provided tool or by hand in some cases.
- Rear Simulator Installation:
- Position the rear wheel simulator (the deeper dished ones) against the outer rear wheel, aligning the holes with the lug studs.
- Secure the simulator by tightening the existing lug nuts over the simulator's mounting points. Again, tighten snugly first, then use the vehicle's specified torque to fully secure them.
- Air Max Valve Extension Kit Installation:
- Inner Wheel Extension: Locate the valve stem on the inner rear wheel. Screw one of the Air Max valve extensions onto this stem. Position the extension so that the end is accessible through one of the hand holes in the outer wheel and secure it using one of the provided brackets and jam nuts.
- Outer Wheel Extension: Locate the valve stem on the outer rear wheel. Screw one of the Air Max valve extensions onto this stem. Position the extension so that it is easily accessible and secure it using a bracket and jam nut. The 120-degree bend on some extensions is designed to aid in accessibility.
- Repeat this process for the other side of the vehicle's rear dual wheels.
- Final Check: After installing all simulators and valve extensions, double-check that all lug nuts are tightened to the correct torque specifications and that the valve extensions are securely mounted and easily accessible.
