HOW TO USE:

1. Preparation: Place the Proxxon MF 70 on a stable, level workbench. Ensure the power cord is accessible and can be safely connected to a 110-120V AC, 60Hz outlet.
2. Tool Installation: Select the appropriate collet for your desired milling cutter's shank diameter. Insert the collet into the spindle, then insert the cutter, ensuring it's seated firmly. Tighten the collet nut using the provided wrenches.
3. Workpiece Clamping: Secure your workpiece onto the compound table using the included clamping set. Position the workpiece accurately based on your project's dimensions. Utilize the adjustable ruler scales on the table for precise alignment.
4. Setting Speed: Rotate the speed control dial to your desired RPM. Start with a lower speed for initial cuts or harder materials, increasing as needed based on the material and cutter type.
5. Milling Operation: Use the handwheels for the X (left-right), Y (front-back), and Z (up-down) axes to position the cutter relative to the workpiece. Carefully lower the spinning cutter into the workpiece to begin the cut and move the workpiece accordingly to perform the milling operation.
6. Monitoring and Adjustments: Continuously monitor the milling process. Adjust speed, depth of cut, and feed rate as necessary to achieve the desired result and prevent overheating of the cutter or material.
7. Completion: Once milling is complete, raise the cutter clear of the workpiece. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source. Carefully remove the workpiece and clean any chips or debris from the machine.
