HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2 1/16 inch (52mm) hole in your vehicle's dashboard or gauge pod. Secure the gauge using the included mounting ring.
- Install the Temperature Probe: Choose a suitable location in the exhaust manifold, ideally before the turbocharger for the most accurate readings. Weld in the provided bung or use the 1/8" NPT fitting to install the K Type Thermocouple probe.
- Connect the Wiring Harness: Connect the 3-foot power and lighting harness to the gauge. Connect the power and ground wires to your vehicle's electrical system. If desired, connect the lighting wire to your vehicle's lighting circuit.
- Connect the Probe to the Gauge: Connect the other end of the K Type Thermocouple probe to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Set the Warning Light (Optional): Follow the gauge's instructions to set your desired maximum exhaust gas temperature threshold for the warning light.
- Verify Operation: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings to ensure proper operation. The gauge should display the exhaust gas temperature, and the warning light should activate if the set threshold is exceeded.
