HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Carefully insert the 2-1/16" gauge into a compatible 2.062" (52mm) opening in your dashboard or instrument panel. Secure it using the appropriate mounting hardware (not explicitly included, may vary depending on installation).
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Attach the 3 ft power and lighting harness to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the power wire to a 12V power source that is switched with the ignition. Connect the ground wire to a suitable ground point on the vehicle's chassis. The lighting wire should be connected to your vehicle's lighting circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your headlights.
- Install the Temperature Sensor: Locate a suitable port in your engine's coolant system (typically on the engine block or thermostat housing) with a compatible thread size for the included Speedhut temperature sensor. Install the sensor securely.
- Connect the Sensor Wiring Harness: Connect one end of the 2-wire temperature gauge wiring harness to the terminals on the Speedhut temperature sensor. Connect the other end of the harness to the corresponding terminals on the back of the water temperature gauge. Ensure a secure and correct connection.
- Test the Gauge: With all connections made, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The gauge should power on, and the pointer should indicate the current coolant temperature. Verify that the LED illumination activates when the vehicle's lights are turned on.
