HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Choose a suitable location on your dashboard and create a 2.67" (68mm) diameter hole. Insert the speedometer into the hole and secure it using the included spin-lock mounting ring from the back of the dashboard.
- Position the GPS Antenna: Select a location for the GPS antenna that has a clear view of the sky. This is crucial for receiving accurate GPS signals. The antenna is waterproof, so it can be mounted externally.
- Connect the GPS Antenna: Route the 9.8 ft cable from the GPS antenna to the back of the speedometer unit and connect the male SMA connector to the corresponding port.
- Connect the Power Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the designated connector on the back of the speedometer.
- Wire the Power: Connect the red wire from the power harness to a 12V positive power source that is switched with the vehicle's ignition. Connect the black wire to a suitable ground.
- Optional Lighting Connection: The power harness also includes wires for controlling the gauge's LED illumination (if applicable). Refer to the Speedhut wiring diagram for specific color-coding and connection instructions for your vehicle's lighting system.
- Power On: Turn on your vehicle's ignition. The speedometer should power up and acquire a GPS signal. This may take a few seconds initially. Once a signal is acquired, the speedometer will display your vehicle's speed.
