HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on your vehicle's dashboard or instrument panel that can accommodate a 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter hole.
- Drill the Hole: Carefully drill the 2.67-inch (68mm) mounting hole.
- Install the Gauge Mounting Ring: Place the included mounting ring into the drilled hole.
- Insert the Gauge: Insert the Speedhut EGT gauge into the mounting ring from the front.
- Secure the Gauge: Tighten the mounting ring from the back to secure the gauge in place.
- Install the EGT Probe: Mount the EGT/Ultra Low Type K Probe in the exhaust manifold or pipe at a location recommended for accurate temperature readings. Ensure the 9-foot braided steel line reaches the gauge.
- Connect the Probe: Connect the wiring from the EGT probe to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge. Refer to the gauge's wiring diagram for correct connections.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source in your vehicle (typically 12V) and to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge to power the gauge and its LED illumination.
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge to ensure it is receiving power and displaying temperature readings correctly as the engine warms up.
