HOW TO USE:
- Install the EGT Probe: Drill and tap a suitable location in your engine's exhaust manifold. Install the Type K probe securely.
- Route the Probe Wiring: Carefully route the probe's wiring to the desired location of the gauge, ensuring it is away from extreme heat and moving parts.
- Mount the Gauge: Drill a 2.67-inch (68mm) hole in your chosen mounting location. Insert the gauge and secure it using the included mounting ring.
- Connect the Wiring Harness: Connect the power and lighting harness to the gauge. Connect the power and ground wires to your vehicle's electrical system. If applicable, connect the lighting wire to a switched 12V source for illumination when the vehicle lights are on.
- Connect the Probe to the Gauge: Connect the wires from the EGT probe to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Set the Warning Threshold (if applicable): Follow the gauge's instructions to set your desired high-temperature warning point.
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge reading. Ensure the warning light functions correctly when a high temperature is simulated or reached.
