HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Identify a suitable location on your dashboard or instrument panel with a 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter opening. Ensure there is enough clearance behind the mounting surface for the gauge and its wiring.
- Mounting the Gauge: Insert the Speedhut dual gauge into the prepared opening. Secure it using the included mounting ring from the back of the panel.
- Wiring Connections (Power & Lighting): Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the appropriate power and ground sources in your vehicle's electrical system. This harness will also power the gauge's illumination.
- Wiring Connections (Pressure Sensor): Connect the 3-Wire Pressure Gauge Wiring Harness to the provided 100 psi pressure sensor. Then, connect the other end of this harness to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Installing the Pressure Sensor: Locate an appropriate port on your engine's oil system to install the pressure sensor. Ensure the sensor is properly threaded and sealed to prevent leaks.
- Wiring Connections (Temperature Sensor): Connect the 2-Wire Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the provided Speedhut temperature sensor. Then, connect the other end of this harness to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Installing the Temperature Sensor: Locate an appropriate location on your engine's cooling system (e.g., thermostat housing, coolant line) to install the temperature sensor. Ensure it is properly installed to get accurate readings.
- Final Checks: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Testing: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings to confirm that both the water temperature and oil pressure are being displayed correctly.
