Typically, the red wire connects to a 12V switched power source (ignition), the black wire connects to ground, and another wire (often orange or similar) connects to the vehicle's lighting circuit to dim the gauge when the headlights are on. Refer to the specific wiring diagram included with your gauge.
3. Install the Temperature Sensor: Locate a suitable port on your engine's cooling system (e.g., thermostat housing, coolant passage) to install the Speedhut temperature sensor.
