HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Choose a suitable location on your dashboard or in a gauge pod that has a 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter opening.
- Mounting the Gauge: Insert the Speedhut dual gauge into the mounting hole from the front. Secure it in place using the included mounting ring from the back of the dashboard or pod.
- Connecting the Pressure Sensor: Locate the appropriate port on your engine for the oil pressure sensor. Thread the included 100 psi pressure sensor into this port.
- Wiring the Pressure Sensor: Connect one end of the 3-wire pressure gauge wiring harness to the terminals on the pressure sensor. Connect the other end to the corresponding terminals on the back of the Speedhut gauge. Refer to the wiring diagram provided with the gauge for correct connections.
- Connecting Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft power and lighting harness to the designated power and ground terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the other end to a suitable 12V power source in your vehicle that is active when the ignition is on, and to a suitable ground point. If your gauge has lighting functionality, connect the appropriate wire to your vehicle's lighting circuit if desired.
- Final Checks: Ensure all connections are secure and that the gauge is firmly mounted.
- Testing: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings for both voltage and oil pressure. Verify that the warning light functions as expected when voltage or oil pressure falls outside the specified ranges.
