HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.3-inch (84mm) diameter opening in your dashboard or instrument panel. Secure the speedometer using the included spin-lock mounting ring from the back of the panel.
- Connect Power: Connect the red wire from the included 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a 12V positive power source in your vehicle. Connect the black wire to a suitable ground.
- Mount the GPS Antenna: Choose a location for the GPS antenna that has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. This is crucial for accurate GPS signal reception. Common locations include the dashboard top or the vehicle's roof. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and secure the antenna.
- Connect the Antenna: Connect the male SMA connector on the GPS antenna cable to the corresponding connector on the back of the speedometer.
- Optional Lighting Connection: If your harness includes additional wires for lighting (often an orange or white wire), connect these to your vehicle's lighting circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your headlights or other lights.
- Start Your Vehicle: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle. The speedometer should begin acquiring a GPS signal and will display your speed once a signal is established. The LCD screen will also display the odometer and trip meter readings.
