HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.28" (83mm) diameter hole on your dashboard. Insert the Speedhut Quad Gauge into the hole and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a 12V power source, ground, and your vehicle's lighting circuit (if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your headlights).
- Install the Temperature Sensor: Mount the included Speedhut Temperature Sensor in the desired location for oil temperature measurement (typically a threaded port on the oil pan or filter housing). Connect the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness between the sensor and the gauge.
- Install the Pressure Sensor: Mount the included 100 PSI Pressure Sensor to a suitable port on your engine's oil system. Connect the Pressure Gauge Wiring Harness between the sensor and the gauge.
- Connect the Fuel Level Sensor (Not Included): Identify the wiring from your vehicle's fuel level sending unit. Connect this wiring to the appropriate terminals on the back of the Speedhut Quad Gauge using the additional 2-Wire Cable. Note: You may need to consult your vehicle's wiring diagram or the instructions for your fuel level sensor for proper connection.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings to ensure all parameters are being displayed correctly. For the fuel level, the reading will depend on the fuel level in the tank and the compatibility of your sender. You may need to calibrate the fuel level reading according to Speedhut's instructions or videos.
- Configure the Warning Light (Optional): If desired, follow the gauge's instructions to set the parameters for the warning light to activate at specific oil temperature, voltage, or oil pressure thresholds.
