HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Carefully position the gauge in a 3.28 inch (83mm) diameter hole in your dashboard and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
- Connect Power and Lighting: Utilize the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to connect the gauge to a suitable power source and ensure the LED illumination functions correctly.
- Install Pressure Sensor: Mount the included 100 psi pressure sensor to the appropriate port on your engine for oil pressure readings.
- Connect Pressure Sensor Wiring: Use the 3-wire Pressure Gauge Wiring Harness to connect the pressure sensor to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge.
- Install Temperature Sensor: Mount the included Speedhut Temperature Sensor in the designated location for monitoring water temperature (typically in a coolant passage).
- Connect Temperature Sensor Wiring: Use the 2-wire Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to connect the temperature sensor to the correct terminals on the gauge.
- Connect Fuel Level Sensor (Not Included): If you have a fuel level sensor with an output of 300 ohms or less, connect it to the designated terminals on the gauge using the additional 2-wire Wiring Harness. Refer to the gauge's specific wiring diagram and your fuel level sensor's instructions for proper connection.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct before starting your vehicle.
- Monitor Readings: Once the installation is complete, start your vehicle and observe the gauge to ensure it is displaying accurate readings for water temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The warning light will illuminate if any monitored parameter falls outside of a safe range (specific warning thresholds may be programmable; consult the gauge's manual).
