HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure you have a 4.23-inch (108mm) diameter opening in your dashboard where you intend to install the gauge.
- Install the Temperature Sensor: Mount the included Speedhut temperature sensor in an appropriate location on your engine, typically within a coolant passage.
- Connect the Wiring Harnesses:
- Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source, ground, and your vehicle's lighting system (if you want the gauge to illuminate with your lights).
- Connect the 2-Wire Cable Wiring Harness as needed for any additional functions (refer to the product's wiring diagram).
- Connect the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable) between the installed temperature sensor and the gauge.
- Connect the Fuel Level Signal Wire: Connect the appropriate wire from your vehicle's fuel level sending unit to the designated terminal on the gauge. You may need to consult your vehicle's wiring diagram and the Speedhut gauge's instructions for proper connection.
- Mount the Gauge: Carefully insert the gauge into the 4.23-inch opening in your dashboard and secure it using the provided mounting hardware (if any).
- Test the Gauge: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge readings for both water temperature and fuel level. Verify that the warning light functions as expected (refer to the product manual for testing procedures).
