HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable flat surface on your vehicle's dashboard or instrument panel with a minimum depth clearance. Drill a 3.93" (100mm) diameter hole. Insert the Speedhut 4" EV Orion Speedometer Gauge into the hole. Secure it from the back using the provided spin-lock ring or mounting hardware.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the appropriate power and ground sources in your vehicle's electrical system. This harness also provides power for the gauge's internal illumination.
- Connect the CAN-Bus Harnesses: Locate the CAN-Bus connection points on your electric vehicle's ECU or control system. Connect the provided EV CAN Jumper Harness and EV CAN Harness to these points and then to the corresponding connector on the back of the Speedhut speedometer gauge. Ensure proper polarity and secure connections.
- Optional Indicator Wiring (If Applicable): If you choose to use the optional turn signal and high beam indicators, connect the 12 Volt output wires from your vehicle's turn signal and high beam circuits to the designated input wires on the Speedhut gauge. Refer to the gauge's wiring diagram for specific connections.
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are made, power on your electric vehicle. The Speedhut speedometer should illuminate, and the pointer should indicate the speed based on the data received from the ECU via the CAN-Bus. Test the optional turn signals and high beam indicator if connected.
