HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your HMMWV is turned off and the ignition is in the off position. Gather any necessary tools for dashboard removal.
- Remove Existing Gauges and Panel: Carefully detach the existing gauge cluster and disconnect the wiring harnesses connected to the old gauges. Note the positions and connections for easy reassembly.
- Install New Dash Panel: Position the new 5-gauge dash panel into the designated space in your HMMWV's dashboard and secure it.
- Connect New Gauges:
- GPS Speedometer: Mount the speedometer in its designated slot in the new panel. Connect the provided power wires (typically positive and ground) to your HMMWV's electrical system (ensure correct polarity). Connect the included waterproof GPS antenna, routing the cable as needed for optimal signal reception.
- Oil Pressure Gauge: Mount the oil pressure gauge. Connect the wiring harness to the existing OEM oil pressure sensor connector.
- Volt Gauge: Mount the volt gauge. Connect the wiring harness to the existing OEM voltage sensor connector.
- Water Temperature Gauge: Mount the water temperature gauge. Connect the wiring harness to the existing OEM water temperature sensor connector.
- Fuel Level Gauge: Mount the fuel level gauge. Connect the wiring harness to the existing OEM fuel level sensor connector.
- Secure Gauges: Ensure all gauges are firmly mounted in the new dash panel.
- Final Connections: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Testing: Turn on your HMMWV's ignition and verify that all gauges are functioning correctly. Check the speedometer reading against a known speed source or GPS device. Observe the oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level gauges as the vehicle operates. Confirm the volt gauge is displaying the correct voltage.
- Final Assembly: Once all gauges are confirmed to be working, ensure the dash panel is securely fastened.
