HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your Humvee's ignition is off and disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
- Remove Existing Panel (if applicable): Carefully remove the existing instrument panel from your Humvee.
- Install New Dash Panel: Position and secure the included Speedhut 5-gauge dash panel into the designated location.
- Mount Gauges: Insert each of the five Speedhut gauges into the corresponding openings in the new dash panel. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the wiring harnesses of each gauge. Use the existing OEM sensor wiring for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. Connect power and ground for each gauge. The GPS speedometer requires a 12V power connection and the waterproof GPS antenna.
- Fuel Level Gauge Programming (if needed): Program the gauge to match your Humvee’s fuel sending unit ohm range. Refer to Speedhut instructions for steps.
- GPS Antenna Placement: Mount the waterproof GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky (roof or dashboard recommended).
- Final Checks: Double-check all wiring for secure and correct connections.
- Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Testing: Turn on the ignition to ensure all gauges function correctly. Test GPS speedometer during a short drive if possible.
